So far this April we have been having very unseasonably warm weather. To make the most of it today we have been spending the day walking along the Kennet and Avon canal, talking lots of photos (as usual) and stopping for a bit of lunch at the George along the way. I am feeling we need to make the most of the British countryside as we wont have easy access to it once we are in Australia.
Someone from Pickfords came to the house yesterday to calculate how much it will cost us to ship everything out to Australia. We had to make some pretty hard decisions as to exactly what we plan to take, and what we will have to leave behind. Still it is done now, and we should have a quote by Monday. There were two main options offered to us, either we fill a whole container, or we pack everything up and they add it to someone else's stuff to fill a container. This second option should work out cheaper, and takes longer (10-14 weeks), this seems the best option for us, as we are planning to go traveling anyway, so we don't want our stuff to arrive in Australia too soon.
