The shipping of all our worldly goods to Australia will apparently take a good 3 months. B, seeking every chance he can for a holiday, sees this as a golden opportunity for some mega-super-holiday-fun. We have therefore been contemplating a nice trip through central and south America on our way out to Australia (the one 'habitable' Continent we are yet to visit). We will be going to the travel agent tomorrow to see how affordable such a plan would be.
As B did our seasonal room change this week, he has tried to keep the amount of furniture in the living room right down to a minimum. The plan being, everything in the dinning room is now potentially up for sale! But seeing as all our drawers and cabinets are now in the dinning room, I'm a little concerned about what we will do with their contents.
Another thing we received this week was the first of the statutory declarations for my visa application. Thank you Lisa! We only officially need one more now, but I wont be able to send off the form until after we get back from Istanbul at the very earliest, so we have a bit of time to go to collect as many as we can.
