Count Down to Emigration...139 days.

B got very grumpy this week when he got a letter from the home office, stating he needed to go for an interview to prove his identity before they could issue his British passport.  It seems to be a new thing they have introduced for people applying for their first passport, as I never had to do anything like this.  They can ask him anything they like from the information used on the application form through to information they could obtain from his credit history, the DVLA or any other organisation that might hold information on him.

Time has been getting on and it is now only 2 months until the Bristol half marathon.  I'm a little concerned that we haven't heard any more information confirming we have our place.  Still the training continues sporadically, yesterday we managed to do a 9 mile run in just one and a half hours.  Although we normally do a Monday run, my feet are still sore, so we will have a break tonight.

B continues his packing frenzy, and is currently going through the kitchen ruthlessly deciding what to keep and what to chuck.  Although I will help with any other room in the house, I am quite happy to leave the kitchen to him.  It is after all his domain.

We are trying to take the time to go to new places every week, so expect a lot more posts on 'What we will be leaving behind'.  This weekend we are planning to take a trip down to Glastonbury, to see the final resting place of king Arthur (supposedly).
