Today B ran the Bath half marathon in approximately 2 hours, and I am so proud of him. Despite going with him to the runners village and waiting at the start/finish line at the start and the end, I managed not to spot him at either end, there are so many people running! I did get to see him about halfway through, whilst I was heading to the green park brasserie to warm up.
He is now soothing his muscles in a well earned hot bath, whilst contemplating running the Melbourne half marathon next year. Needless to say, I don't think I will be joining him.
