It is exactly a week until we fly, and tonight we will be having our leaving party, in the same venue we had our English wedding party. We have nothing left to prepare for the party other than turn up with our guest book for everyone to sign, we might bring Skippy McBruce along too.
One thing I do need to do before we go, is make sure all the remaining Christmas presents are wrapped up ready to give out tonight.
We will finally drop our car off with it's new owner today, so that is the last 'big' thing sorted. If there is a space outside our house we also need to block the road so that there is room for the Pickfords lorry to park. Then there are a lot of other 'little' things to sort out this morning, like ensuring the most recent photo's are backed up so that we can clear our cameras, and finishing our last bits of washing. Pickfords arrive at nine tomorrow, so anything we haven't sorted today, goes in our hand luggage or gets left behind.
