B managed to book his citizenship ceremony for as soon as next Wednesday, the trouble is, at this short notice I doubt I'll be able to get the time off of work. He says I'll only need half a day, as he doesn't seem to think it will last more than half an hour, and it is due to start at 11am. I feel I might need to do some serious begging at work tomorrow.
It will be a group ceremony, and I really would like to attend. But with 2 wards to cover and being on-call that week to boot.....odds aren't in my favour. Still once this is done we will finally be able to get B a British passport.
